Vert comfortable and looks like a lace up but it is a slip on. Fits very good. Ordered a 2nd pair in another color.

First class shoes. Felt tight around the ankle initially but this disappeared after a couple days. Shoes were comfortable for walking immediately. No break in needed. The suggested care required for suede shoes was bothersome and the products required to do it properly were not available locally. I had to order them over the internet. Not the shoes fault though. All in all, I would recommend them. They are more costly than copy cat look alikes I saw but I’ll stick with these.

My shoes were here quicker than Ive ever received any thing that ive ordered. I am overly impressed. Great price, great communications, great shipping. It almost unbelievable that there are still merchants of this caliber in business. I thought all the good guys got weeded out, well, this one didn’t. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I was skeptical about such a high priced shoe but the build quality is very high. I was worried about the slip fit elastic lace design with narrow feet but with my usual after market insoles they were fine. Long term wear remains to be seen. They are not a daily use shoe. Like any aggressive off road tire, these shoes will quickly wear the treads if not in a harsh hiking environment with dirt and mud.
They are quite stiff and will offer good support for wilderness hiking and trail walking. They are not trail runners.
