I ordered a pair of mens Rainbows for my son. They seem to fit true to size. He wears a 10 1/2 Mens shoe and the Large fit him fine. They should fit a little snug in the beginning. Being leather they will soon mold to fit your foot. He loves them and says they are the best flip flops he has ever worn.

These are extremely comfortable. I had heard for awhile from people who swear by Rainbows that I should get some. They are hands down my most comfortable pair of flip flops. In high school and college I wore the $1.97 flip flops until they wore out (About a month). But I’ve had Reefs, Big T1tties (Pirates), AE, etc. And these easily beat them.
I think I’ll be buying a pair for my wife.
The only issue for me is the Sizing. I wear a size 14, well Rainbows don’t come in strict sizes. So my foot fell somewhere right in between a XXL and a XXXL. I bought the XXXL and they are bigger than my foot. They are very comfortable, but I wish I could try on a XXL to see if in the future I should buy some XXLs. That’s just an issue with buying online, I realize that, and it’s nothing against Rainbow. Hope this helps. If you wear flip-flops all the time, or if you can only wear them after work :(

These sandals are a staple for Southern Californians. They form to your feet after wearing them a few times and last forever. They generally hurt your feet a little the first few times you wear them, but they break in pretty quickly. By far the cheapest place to get them is at the Rainbows store in San Clemente, CA off of the 5 fwy and Ave Pico. They are a lot more expensive in other stores and even on amazon.com.
These sandals will last so much longer than any other pair you will buy and are made of excellent materials, they are definitely worth the extra money.

After 18 years, my husband finally let go of his Rainbow Flip Flops bought in 1989. Granted the past two summers of wearing them has been an act of love on his part but, they were his favorites and though slightly cracked from lying in the sun….he could still wear them. He was like a kid with a toy when he received his new pair for Christmas…and though the logo was different, the name was the same and the quality appeared to be the same, as well. When he bought his one and only orignal pair in 1989…we gasped at the price since it was higher than the drug store brands…but, they are worth every penny…no gasps needed…they last almost forever…made extremely well…comfortable, handsome leather…we’re fans!
